How to export your conversationsWhatsApp, Slack, Teams, Email
On iPhone:
- Open the conversation in WhatsApp
- Tap the contact name at the top
- Scroll down and tap "Export chat"
- Choose "Without media"
- Choose "Save to Files"
- Upload the .txt file here
On Android:
- Open the conversation in WhatsApp
- Tap the 3 dots in the top right
- Tap "More" > "Export chat"
- Choose "Without media"
- Choose "Save to device"

Slack
Official export (recommended)
- Slack workspace → Settings → "Import/Export Data" → export the channel (admin-only)
- Download the archive and upload the .json file(s) here — the users.json file, if included, shows real names instead of Slack IDs
Without admin rights
- Select the messages to cover in Slack and copy them (the sender's name and time must be visible)
- Paste the text into a .txt file, making sure a date appears before each new day's messages

Teams
- Open the conversation in Teams (app or teams.microsoft.com)
- Select the messages to cover and copy them (the sender's name and timestamp must be visible)
- Paste the text into a .txt file, with the export date as the first line (e.g. "Export du 05/09/2026")

- Open the thread in your mail client
- For each message, note the sender (From:), recipient(s) (To:), date and subject
- Paste the content into a text file (.txt), one message after another, separated by a line of dashes (---)

Dates and senders are essential: without them, no dated record of facts is possible. If your export does not contain them, the report will say so rather than invent a timeline.
