1. Purpose

These Terms govern the sale of analysis reports on the ScanMyLove platform (https://scan.psychologieetserenite.com). Chat is included in paid reports. By making a purchase, the user unreservedly accepts these terms.

2. Services offered

ScanMyLove offers: (a) a free statistics dashboard based on local conversation analysis, (b) automatically generated paid analysis reports, (c) a paid chat module allowing questions based on the imported conversation.

3. Pricing

Prices are shown in euros including tax. Essential Report: €1.99 (chat included). Premium Report: €3.99 (chat included). Prices may be changed at any time, without retroactive effect on purchases already made.

4. Payment

Payment is made through the secure Stripe platform. Accepted payment methods are: credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex). Payment is charged immediately upon order validation.

5. Delivery

PDF reports are generated and delivered instantly after payment. The download link is valid for 24 hours. Chat credits are activated immediately after payment.

6. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with consumer protection law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content provided immediately after payment. By purchasing a report or chat credits, you expressly accept immediate delivery and waive your right of withdrawal.

7. Limitation of liability

Generated analyses are provided for informational purposes and do not constitute medical, psychological or therapeutic advice. They do not replace a consultation with a healthcare professional. ScanMyLove shall not be held liable for the use made of analysis results.

2. Data collected

ScanMyLove is designed to operate 100% anonymously. No registration is required. No identifier, tracking cookie or fingerprint is used to identify users.

The imported conversation is stored exclusively in your browser’s localStorage (client-side). When purchased, it is transmitted to our servers: for the report, it is anonymized before being sent to our AI analysis subprocessor; for the chat, the exchanged text is transmitted as-is. The Stripe payment session also passes through our servers.

3. Anonymization before sending to the analysis AI

Before being transmitted to our AI analysis subprocessor, the conversation used for your report is automatically anonymized by our servers:

• Participant names are replaced with “Person A”, “Person B”
• Phone numbers, email addresses and postal addresses are masked
• The anonymized text is transmitted encrypted (TLS 1.3) to our AI analysis subprocessor
• Real names are restored in the final report, server-side, without ever leaving our infrastructure

Data processing relies on two legal bases:

• Explicit consent (Article 6.1.a GDPR): a consent window is displayed before uploading the conversation file, informing the user of anonymized processing
• Contract performance (Article 6.1.b GDPR): processing is necessary for the provision of the paid report service

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:

• Right of access: obtain confirmation whether your data is or is not being processed
• Right to rectification: correct inaccurate data
• Right to erasure: request deletion of your data
• Right to data portability: retrieve your data in a structured format
• Right to object: oppose the processing of your data
• Right to restriction: request limitation of processing

8. Cookies

ScanMyLove does not use any tracking, advertising or analytics cookies. Only strictly necessary technical cookies for secure payment (Stripe) may be placed.

9. Security

The following security measures are implemented to protect your data:

• HTTPS/TLS 1.3 encryption for all communications
• Automatic anonymization of personal data before transmission to our AI analysis subprocessor (report)
• Conversations automatically deleted: immediately after analysis (Premium) or within 30 days maximum (Essential)
• 100% automated analysis — no conversation is ever read by a human
• Download tokens: 24h if unpaid, permanent access to your report once paid, with HMAC integrity verification

Sample gallery and engagement measurement

On our sample report pages (the "gallery"), we measure reading engagement using an anonymous identifier ("visitor_id"), a random UUID stored in a first-party cookie for 13 months. This identifier contains no personal data: it cannot identify you or be used to contact you. It is used only to measure, in aggregate, which examples are viewed and, where applicable, to trigger a discovery offer. Your IP address is never stored in clear text (only a truncated fingerprint is used to prevent abuse). You can refuse or delete this cookie at any time through your browser settings, with no impact on your access to the site.
