Code of ethics
As a psychotherapist, I commit to respecting a strict ethical framework guaranteeing the quality and ethics of my practice.
Respect for the individual
I commit to respecting the dignity, integrity and freedom of each person. I make no value judgments about the life choices, beliefs or orientations of my patients. Each individual is welcomed with kindness and consideration, regardless of their origin, gender, sexual orientation or social situation.
Professional secrecy and confidentiality
All information shared during sessions is strictly confidential. I am bound by professional secrecy and do not communicate any information to third parties without the explicit consent of the patient, except in cases provided by law (danger to the person or to others).
Competence and continuing education
I commit to practicing within the limits of my skills and training. I regularly pursue training to update and deepen my knowledge. When an issue exceeds my area of competence, I commit to referring the patient to a more suitable professional.
Informed consent
Before any treatment, I clearly inform the patient about the methods used, the therapeutic framework, the estimated duration and the fees. The patient is free to accept, refuse or discontinue therapy at any time. No commitment to results is made.
Therapeutic framework
I maintain a clear and stable therapeutic framework: schedules, session duration, fees, cancellation conditions. This framework is defined from the first interview and constitutes an essential reference for the smooth running of the therapy. I prohibit any dual relationship (friendly, commercial, romantic) with my patients.
Non-discrimination and neutrality
I commit to practicing no discrimination and to welcoming every person without distinction. I remain neutral and caring in my professional posture, without imposing my own values or convictions. My role is to accompany, never to direct.
Supervision and self-questioning
I commit to regularly participating in professional supervision sessions to question my practice, prevent any risk of drift and ensure the quality of the support offered. Permanent self-questioning is a pillar of my professional approach.
