Consultations are not covered by Social Security. Some mutual insurance companies cover all or part of psychotherapy sessions. Payment by credit card or cash. Any session not cancelled 48 hours in advance will be charged.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a CBT session cost?
An individual cognitive behavioral therapy session costs €90 for 75 minutes. A couples session is €110. Payment is made by credit card at the beginning of the session, both in the office and via video consultation.
Is CBT reimbursed by French health insurance?
No. As a psychopractitioner (not a psychologist or psychiatrist), sessions are not reimbursed by the French national health insurance (Sécurité sociale). However, some supplementary health insurance plans (mutuelles) may partially cover psychotherapy — check with your insurer.
What happens during the first session?
The first session is an initial assessment: you explain what brings you in, we define your therapeutic goals together, and evaluate whether CBT is the most suitable approach for your situation. There is no commitment — you decide freely on the next steps.
Can sessions be done via video call?
Yes, video sessions are available for all individual and couples consultations. This is convenient if you are outside Nantes or prefer to consult from home. The therapeutic quality is identical to an in-office session.
