63 questions·10 min·5 dimensions and a separate readiness-to-change module·up to 18 clinical frameworks·6 report sections
Reviewed by Gildas Garrec, CBT practitioner
Good morning,
This test looks at self-esteem through four distinct supports: the sense of being worth something independently of what you produce, confidence in your own abilities, the relationship with the body as it is lived day to day, and the ease of taking your place and saying no. The report locates each of these supports separately, with the situations where it holds and those where it gives way.
What you receive — a report written from your answers: what stands out, what sustains it, and where to start. This week, this month, later on.
How it is built — each axis is analyzed on its own, then cross-read with the others, through clinical reading frameworks. Your detailed answers are attached as an appendix. See an example report
The test runs over 63 questions and takes about 10 min, for a price of $3.60.
We'd also suggest reading the book The Practical CBT Guide, to take this reflection further. It's included in the price and downloadable.
If you have a question about your report, write to us at contact@psychologieetserenite.com: a psychotherapist will reply within 48 hours.

QUICK ANSWER
Self-Esteem Test: measure the perception of your own worth — a 63-question self-assessment, about 10 min. Self-esteem test: reflect on how you see yourself and your sense of personal worth. Once finished, you receive a detailed PDF report ($3.60): an interpretation of its 5 dimensions, a radar chart, up to 18 clinical reading frameworks and a personalized action plan. It is designed to help you know yourself better.
This interactive test covers self-esteem, comparison, rumination, confidence, perseverance, autonomy, the body, appearance, nudity, boundaries, speaking up and what others think — twelve entries spread across the four dimensions measured: personal worth, confidence in one's abilities, body image and self-assertion. What the test asks, for example Self-esteem If, in a room full of strangers, what comes to your mind is something like: you belong here as much as anyone else. If, when you are congratulated, you reply that it was mostly luck. Comparison If, looking at a colleague's career path, you tally up what you are missing. If, when good news comes your way, you enjoy it as much as anyone else around you would. Rumination If a clumsy moment from long ago still comes back to you at night in bed. If, after a day of being left out, you keep the same opinion of yourself. Confidence If, facing a new task, what comes to your mind first is something like: you are going to mess this up. If, faced with unfamiliar software, you open the tutorial rather than call for help. Perseverance If, facing another obstacle on a task, you close the file and move on to something else. If you go back to an exercise several evenings in a row because you know it will eventually click. Autonomy If you wait to be asked rather than suggesting an improvement yourself. If you decide on your own about the school, the insurance or the provider, and own the outcome. The body If you change clothes several times before going out and check your reflection in every shop window. If, in front of the bathroom mirror, you let your eyes rest on what you like. Appearance If a remark about your weight ruins your entire day. If your appearance does not stop you from accepting a pool outing with friends. Nudity If, in group photos, you offer to hold the camera and stay out of the shot. If, in the pool changing room, you change in front of others without feeling embarrassed. Boundaries If, when a request does not suit you, you say yes anyway and regret it. If you turn down a favor that is inconvenient for you, without dwelling on it afterward. Speaking up If you keep your complaint to yourself rather than risk a tense conversation. If, when everyone at the table agrees and you think the opposite, you say so before the meal ends. What others think If, when you are complimented, you change the subject right away. If, when you are told that your work is good, you answer thank you, without adding a reservation.
